Job role –
1. Financial Accounting & Banking:
Implementing systems, procedures & manuals for preparation & maintenance of statutory books of accounts & financial statements
ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
Evaluating the internal control systems
Preparation of financial statements along with schedules in the format prescribed/ by various authority i.e. Company Act Authority, Income Tax Authority and as per guidelines issued by ICAI & ICWA.
Monitoring the Daily Cash Fund Flow. Monitoring the day to day routine activity of Accounts Department.
Banking Operations: Opening any new bank account, negotiating bank charges, foreign remittance charges, relationship ship with bankers
2. Receivable Management:
Assure timely collection of monies due to member.
Monitor and report on deviations from credit standards.
Assure timely and accurate invoicing.
Manage cash application making sure all cash receipts are applied properly
Conduct credit checks on all customer, establish and manage limits
Make recommendations to improve quality of invoicing and collection procedures.
Weekly reporting of invoicing totals/aging totals/cash receipts/invoice adjustments
Scrutinising Accounts Receivable plan and reconciliation for debtors ledgers.
3. Payable Management:
Includes, Customer Vendor Relations
Manages accounting functions including maintenance of general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and project accounting; ensures accuracy and timeliness.
Develops, implements and maintains systems, procedures and policies, including accounts payable functions to ensure adherence to company guidelines.
Manages monthly closing of financial records and posting of month end information; ensures accuracy of financial statements.
Provides accounting assistance to project managers and operations staff; responds to financial questions/concerns to meet business needs.
Acts as a liaison between the company, government and external accountants to meet information needs and to ensure that proper information is maintained for historical purposes.
Selects and hires employees for the groups mentioned above. Trains and evaluates employees to enhance their performance, development, and work product. Addresses performance issues and makes recommendations for personnel actions. Motivates and rewards employees including providing salary increases, bonuses and promotions within allocated budgets and company guidelines.
Prepares and recommends operating and personnel budgets for approval. Monitors spending for adherence to budget, recommends variances as necessary.
4. Taxation & Audit
VAT: Supervision of VAT returns, scrutinizing purchase inputs and helping to concern person to prepare Input tax credit and necessary details for filing the return. Exposure of handling VAT Audit as well as Business Audit.
Service Tax: Ensuring timely computation & depositing of service tax, filling service tax return after adjusting input credit of various service tax under service tax laws.
TDS (Income Tax): Supervision of TDS payment and filling of return on or before due date.
Supervision for Computing & arranging for deposit of Income taxes namely advance tax , self-assessment tax and wealth tax and ensuring filing of Income Tax returns as well as timely completion of Various assessment or transfer pricing report under the tax authority
Audit External / internal and Statutory: Managing to prepare the reports and schedule for requirement of various type of auditors , handle External Auditors (Bi4 audit firm) for time to time and ensure dead line for close the audit on time.
5. Budgeting & MIS
Formulating annual Revenue & Capex budgets and conducting variance analysis to determine difference between projected & actual results and implementing corrective actions.
Preparing MIS reports pertaining to profitability other management reports relating to Accounts and Finance namely monthly Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Ageing report including overdue of receivable / payable and analysis of stock ageing.
Preparing for 3 Month forecast related to profit and loss and projection of cash flow with the help of line of operational head.
Responsible for Provident Fund and ESI compliance audit or any other statutory audit. Supervision for compliance related to Company Law i.e drafting the Board Meeting and Filling of various Form with ROC and MCA etc. and ensure compliance related to various laws applicable to the company
